I was not impressed by Elwood's presentation of the non-speaker item featured in Business Week Dec 4, page 108 & 109.

In my humble opinion, I will declare that this device has no possibility of making it on the market place. It can be used for a novelty item and as a vehicle for selling stocks.

It can be talked up by Elwood, but you may remember the article in Business Week three or four years ago about 'the phone up your ear'! Elwood sold that wonderfull idea to investors. The Norris Communication stock was the vechicle used. It had a good run up and the 'seed money investors' made money. Those buying the stock 'as a Johnny come lately' might be lucky to get 11/16!

------------ the answer to your question from humble carl----------
The verdict from top cop Janet Reno is "that we may never know what downed TWA 800". I say: Bring out the war game players that were in the area. Examine the flight records for the planes and ships involved in the excercise that took place. An unarmed missle fired from a military plane or ship could easily have blown the plane out of the sky. An empty fuel tank will if ignited will go off with a 'hell of a bang'!!!
A this late date the radar tracking data tapes for all the planes and ships have probably been destroyed!
