Lots of news:

This was an interesting item in ultralife's 10Q -- it certainly seems they are making a serious committement by putting this in SEC documents.

"The Company expects to have the manufacturing machinery installed and
qualified for production of the rechargeable battery during the second calendar quarter of 1997."

Seems like the industry is begining to heat up. This together with the "battery announcement rumors" leading up to the aer release (see earlier post) and the steady promotion of vlnc by wolunchuk and others has really pumped some life into this segment. I think many thought the announcment was going to come from vlnc not from aer. I would like it if someone from aer's thread would join in the discussion of the technologies so we could get a real (heated?) comparison going.
