I called Morgan Stanley today to inquire about the possibility of a Thailand WEBS. I was told that SEC registration has been filed for 11 new country WEBS - including one for Thailand. They are waiting for SEC approval or rejection of the registration at which time they will decide whether or not to go forward with them.

They were reluctant to give any information regarding a timetable and I was unable to get even an estimated date as to when a Thailand WEBS might start trading.
