Paychex renews Brett Bodine sponsorship for 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup
ROCHESTER, NY, July 28, 1998 -- Paychex announces the renewal of the company's sponsorship of the Scandia Bodine Racing team's #11 Paychex Ford for the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup.

"Based on feedback from clients, CPAs and employees, our NASCAR Winston Cup sponsorship has been extremely positive," said Gene Polisseni, vice president of marketing, Paychex. "The decision to renew our Brett Bodine sponsorship was an easy one to make. On and off the track, Brett is an exceptional competitor and an excellent fit for Paychex."

Paychex (NASDAQ: PAYX), a leading U.S. payroll processor for businesses with 1 to 200 employees, serves more than 290,000 clients nationwide. Paychex is headquartered in Rochester, New York.

"We're excited to renew our Paychex sponsorship so early in the year," said Brett Bodine. "This gives us the opportunity to upgrade our equipment, build new cars and to expand our team. We're positioned to be even more competitive as we finish this season and prepare for next year."

"At Paychex, you can feel the momentum for the #11 Paychex Ford growing," said Polisseni. "With each NASCAR Winston Cup event, the Paychex name reaches a national audience. We look forward to building on that momentum in the second year of our Scandia Bodine Racing team sponsorship."
