Heidi - No harm intended!
I used to get all caught up in hype stocks, but never made much money at it. Now I look for solid companies worth holding for several years or more. I believe Dippy Foods is that kind of company. I think everything about DPPI has been handled well, from concept, to agreements, to production. I think you are doing a heck of a good job - especially on ragingbull (where more Dip-a-holics are).
I appreciate your comments and observations on Dippy Foods, and your insight into the future of the company. My hope is that DPPI does not establish a paper trail of forward looking press releases that are always delayed or never come to pass. This is a great turn off for potential investors in the future. Another company with a drink in a pouch - TCBG - made an announcement last fall that it had submitted an offer to buy Juicy Juice from Nestle. It created a temporary blip, but had no chance of success. After the furror died down, so did the stock price, and it left a sour taste in the mouths of investors. They have also pre-released information on a deal with Walmart and Winn-Dixie, and those have been delayed. By all rights, the stock should be at $5 now, but their mis-use of forward looking press releases has resulted in lots of ups and downs, and a price near $2 a share instead.
In my opinion, announcing milestones as they occur is far better for a stock than sending it on a roller coaster ride. Just my opinion..... |
