I got that statement about Compaq trying to help smaller companies from the "Heard on the Street" section of the Wall Street Journal. It was sometime last week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday, you should read it. Also, Bill Gates and Microsoft are not going to get "put away" by Intel. Nothing is going to put away Microsoft as long as Gates is there. However, it would be interesting to see a merger between Intel and Microsoft sometime in the future (however, the Justice Dept. wouldn't let that happen). Nevertheless, just think about what kind of company "MicroTel" could be!
