While my holding in FVL has been only about 7 months at this point, it was highly correlated to PYH (which had been a Value Line Timeliness Index related ETF).

So, I consider this to be almost the same as continuous ownership of the VL Index for Timeliness. As you can see, having a cash buffer heading into the Big Dip was of considerable value. While I probably spent a bit too much, too quickly, overall, the downward averaging done during the dip has helped with the recovery.

Last Summer's swoon allowed me to redeploy some of the cash reserve that had built up over the previous year. Since September I've been able to recover all of that cash profitably. At this point the account is set to grow should we continue to have more market rally. It also has enough cash on hand to do some pretty serious downward averaging should the markets need correction.

Best regards, Tom
