Inclusion in the Oracle group is certainly a healthy sign. Not to have been included would have a bad sign. It is a pretty large group, though. If SPSS' competitors are also in this group, then I don't think it gives SPSS much of an advantage. Do you know who the other 4 participating software companies are? At any rate, thank you very much for posting this information! My interest in SPSS has been raised a notch or two.
