Mike, I think they said LMDS ws less then 10% and DSL was slightly more. But the difference is small. I have to listen to CC again. Both products have been shipped in real volume by the end of Q2, so it is realistic to expect quick rise. SBC has announced four major vendors ALA,NT LU and NN. CSCO, Siemens, ERICY and TALBs are not there. a) you do not call someone major supplier if you are going to give 100 or less millions in 6 billions project. b)4.5 billion will go for access part, where ALA has major portion. major can be 90% or 65%. Even if ALA got 3 billion it is still major portion of 4.5 billions. c)ALA DSALM can do grat job id providing fast internet, but not TV and Video or Teleconferencing. 350 is so call inteligent dSLAM SBC stated clearly that to have business case they need to provide video on demand and TV channels in additio to internet access d) I know , but can not proof, that NN had lots of trials with SBC for 3dSL (Larry if you do not like this part forget about it) e) For 3dSL in addition to 350 node(access switch)36170 is required too, and as you know SBC has huge based of deployed 36170( 12.8 gig), which will increase dramatically if 50 gig will pass tests
Now I hope you can combined a-e, and make your own conclusion
