T, mutuals don't have to redeem in cash ever (they can redeem in stock), they can't redeem on the day when NYSE is closed (650 point DJIA drop), and it can drop 650 before openning - on overnite/overseas trade. One can't be sure, but judging from futures experience, limit days create more distress - people can't get out at ANY price, no matter what. Joe
