The question is ...what is the risk to a short seller??? We are in a period analogous to the buy high and sell higher we saw a year ago. The threat of a fed rate cut put risk in holding or initiating a short, once that was gone there was little risk percieved until sometime in January, either at the next fed meeting or some "surprise" rise before the meeting.
