TSE NOTICE / TSE 300 Composite Index Notice

TORONTO, Jan. 25 /CNW/ - Effective before the open on Wednesday, January
27, 1999, the Class 'A' Voting Common shares of Blue Range Resource
Corporation (BBR.A) will be removed from the TSE 300 Composite Index. It has
been announced that over 90% of the shares have been tendered to the offer by
Big Bear Exploration Ltd.
Please note the following changes to the TSE 300 Composite Index before
the open on Wednesday, January 27, 1999:

Stock to be added: Cogeco Inc. (CGO)
Group/Subgroup - 11.01 (Broadcasting)

Stock to be removed: Blue Range Resource Corporation Cl 'A' (BBR.A)
Group/Subgroup - 3.02 (Oil & Gas Producers)

Note: Cogeco Inc. (CGO) will also be added to and Blue Range Resource
Corporation Cl 'A' (BBR.A) will be removed from the TSE 200 Index effective
before the open on Wednesday, January 27, 1999.
