Your post is well informed. You ma contradict me, but I don't agree with.
Pls. note thr Grebenski, or Terek Cossaks, also Cossacks of the line, were orginated in Riazan, but being goaded byond indurance by Tzar Ivan III, they decided to go away. They built powerful rafts and and moved south. They sailed on Don, until reaching Volga, and followed the course to the Caspain Sea, finaly reaching the Terek. Here they settled and built their Kreposts and Stanitzas from Sea of Azov to Caspian Sea. They considered themselves a warrier cast, and prefered raiding their Chechen neighbors rather than working. (Often they employed Nogai Tatars as farm hands.) They copied Chehcens weapons, Shashka, Kindjal, instead of their lance, and performed Gighitovka, and even dressed in Cherkaska. The woman who married to Ivan of Muscovy was a Grebenski woman, who could have had Kabardian blood and not a Kabardian. I can't imagine Kabardian Delikans giving their women folks to Gauirs! gg The fortress on the Azov was built by Cossacks. Kabardians do not leave on the Sea of Azov, there you have a race of Demi-Gods, Cherkassians, and then Abkhazians. Kabardians live arround Kislovodsk, Tatatrtoub, Nazaran, and as far south as Darial Pass. That is way away from the sea of Azov.
By the way, your so well versed in the Caucasian history, do you speak Chakobsa! gg
