Mark, I doubt that you know how to lay bait :)

Firstly, there's not much information about the survey in Jerry's letter. However, what it seems to state is that even though, as you say, the leader was "in house proprietary", the *majority* of users are COTS "planners".

Of 930 respondents, only 165 are planning to use
roll-your-own in the next year. That would put the COTS at (930-165)/930 = 82%. Roll-your-own then would equal 18%.

I'm sure this statistic doesn't helps your case. Although I won't say that for sure because I'm never really sure what case you're making.

Secondly.. if you read my post you will notice that I never stated/inferred that Wind was presently leading the field, including roll-your-own. That's because I don't know who is or who isn't. What I did emphasize was the trend. Remember, Mark, "the trend is your friend", or in this case, MY friend, and possibly YOUR enemy.
