That's a good concept. Let's not polarize the country and the nation for something we can do alternatively.

No..but there is no evidence for your unsupported claims. Iraq has never harmed us.

Can't you see that weakness in military thinking leads to innocent deaths? Just look at Vietnam, or more recently, the Black Hawk Down incident.

That is exactly what Baker and Schwartkopf warned against. Going to war without the support of the country and the world (and support of the country will follow the pattern in the rest of the world) is a formula for catastrophe.
So I agree if this is what you mean. This country is already split in half (and Bush made a lot of hay campaigning as a bilateral unifier..). Support among Americans goes way down when the question of casualties comes into the equation. Even prominent Republincas are against it. Did you listen to Chuck Hagel(R) of Nebraska tonight on Hardball?
