I'm not all that much of a soccer fan but I appreciate sports that this level no matter the sport. When I was a student in Mexico City several decades ago, I was dating a soccer player. Actually, he was mostly a rich kid who dabbled in graduate school, soccer, and auto racing. He and I attended many soccer games and my major recollection about that experience was that I never once saw a goal scored. I was always talking to someone or sipping my beer. I never got the hang of the game enough that I could anticipate just when to pay attention. Now, with instant replay, I have a fighting chance. I must say, though, that I watched every minute of the replay of the game between the US and Mexico and was spellbound.

I've always adored Kornheiser and I especially like the Kornheiser/Wilbon pairing. They keep me in stitches.
