Guests on the Sunday Morning Talk Shows

For Sunday, December 11, 2005
Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert has lined up a foreign policy debate between Madeline Albright and Lindsey Graham of the Senate Armed Services Committee. We're promised that they'll talk degrading torture, too. (Do we make our case at the Hague?)
FOX News Sunday: Host Chris Wallace has Bill Frist on to talk about the partisan bickering and whether or not the GOP has a plan to win these little battles. Then he will talk to original Tookie prosector Robert Williams and Bianca Jagger about Tookie.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to Jack Murtha about Iraq and torture. Then he'll speak to Jeff Sessions, of Senate Armed services, about the same topics.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos promises Joe Biden, Joe Biden, and Joe Biden. The topic will be Joe Biden. Then Steph chats with HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt about bird flu or something.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer talks to Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, hopefully about Thursday's elections, and then? DEBATE! This might be an Alito thing, with the Senate Judiciary Committee's Jon Kyl and Chuckie Schumer. ~~~~~
You can scratch your head ? Why Albright? ? but she's back on MTP. We'll hear what the majority leader has to say and can probably skip Bianca on Tookie. Jack Murtha should be good for some fun quotes, and Jeff Sessions is always pretty good. Joe Biden might fill us in on hair transplants, but I somehow doubt it. Wolf almost always has a good interview on Iraq, with people actually there and doing something. I like Jon Kyl. Schumer will maybe spew something new. |
