Bell Resources drills 48 m of 1.06% Cu at Sombrero plus 10 metres 2.04% - 3 of 10 holes reported

Bell Resources is a junior company with great potential. The are in fairly advanced stage of exploration on the old Granduc mine in northern BC and now are discovering significant copper in one of their two properties in Arizona. (See press release below)

Conceptual Target for Sombrero

The target at Sombrero Butte is to develop 10 to 20 million tonnes of 1.5-2.5% copper ore in the breccias, underlain by 200 to 300 million tonnes of 1% Cu-Mo ore in a subjacent porphyry target. High grade Cu-oxide (5-12% Cu in select dump samples) and coarse-grained, blebby bornite-...(web site)

Mr. W. Glen Zinn reports

BELL'S SOMBRERO BUTTE PROJECT DELIVERS SIGNIFICANT COPPER INTERSECTIONS

Bell Resources Corp. is providing partial drill core assays from the phase I drill program on its Sombrero Butte project, located in the Copper Creek district, Pinal county, Arizona. The intent of the current drilling program is to test a cluster of nearly 20 breccia pipes, several of which contain high-grade copper as chalcocite, bornite and chalcopyrite. These early assays support the company's belief that copper mineralization in the breccia pipes may be related to an underlying porphyry copper deposit.

Highlights:

Extensive copper intersections include 48 metres (158 feet) of 1.06 per cent.
Initial drilling has intersected porphyry intrusions in drill hole SB-02.
Based on preliminary results, a second, more extensive program has been approved to immediately follow the phase I drill program.

Drill hole No. From (m) To (m) Intercept (m) Copper (%)

SB-01 no significant intercepts

SB-02 286 334 48 1.06
including 318 328 10 2.04

SB-03 272 294 22 0.58
