Yea, I am VERY suspicious of Yahoo! and its "relationship" to the corporations. I have had postings deleted BEFORE they were posted and others within SECONDS of being posted, I kid you not. There is no way that Joe Blow Investor can contact Yahoo! that fast to complain of a TOS. I hope to one day discover the connection.
Fundamentally, it makes sense to me that Yahoo! would not want to be proactive in defending free speech as their revenue source isn't likely to be message board posters and all the controversy makes for higher hit rates on their web sites. However, in the big picture I don't believe Yahoo! is making the right choice by feeding the message board posters to the dogs when it comes to SLAPP lawsuits and the like.
