Russian military is pushing Moscow to enter Grozny. Note that until now Chechnian forces have not met head on the Russians! They are dug in in Grozny and the hights, byond. Sooner or later Russians will make the mistake! Russian infantery will not enter Grozny without the heavy bombardment, as in 94-96 invasion. Then they send in the infentry and the armour. Russians maybe reluctant to soften Chechen resistance with heavy bombardment, while the EC and US are watching. They have however their public prepared for a high price in human lives in order to capture Grozny. However, I like to know what is the ingame! They capture Grozny and then what, the problem disappears??
