Hi Eric - I agree that if Dr. Schmidt purchased shares on the open market, the news would be out by now. However, I don't see the rationale for him buying more shares: He now owns 900,000 shares plus has options to buy an additional 2,750,000 shares. Is he going to buy more in the attempt to impress people? I doubt it. He certainly isn't going to buy additional shares based on non-public information that would significantly affect the stock price. The trading activity today strongly suggests that there is a segment of the investment community with a whole lot more information about Novell than I have. Does the SEC ever look into these seemingly strange events? Elmo
