No, Halliburton gets its contracts because of Cheney and it's outrageously strong connections at the Pentagon and White House. They have a long record of cheating tax-payers out of millions and ought to be presecuted. There is nothing innocent of fair about the Halliburton situation. Cheney just doesn't give a damn what you think.

There are plenty of companies that can do what Halliburton does, in fact most of their work is out-sourced to other companies and they double-bill tax-payers for it. What they're doing in Iraq could cost 90% less if there wasn't so much corruption in place. The stories I've heard are outrageous.
