[OT-More semi-equip talk]

Tony,

Thanks for shedding some light on this for me. I think I have a very simple idea of supply and demand. <gg>

Funny thing....I heard part of an interview today....the CEO of a small (very small >50mil mkt cap) company called JMAR Technologies. They are still doing OK; still moving ahead with R&D, still getting orders from their core business (latest order....product headed for Latin America); also working under a government grant doing X-ray lithography, which the CEO is very exited about. They're also buying back up to 2mil shares. Isn't it great?! Got to love these small companies trying to pull it all together and succeed in this environment. This guy loved his work! I only caught 1/2 of the interview, unfortunately. I'm going to track them now, and see how they do over time. Everyone seems to say, things can still get a lot worse. I wonder what this company's chances are for survival? I'm finding that a lot must depend on Latin America. I don't think they'll let that domino go down, and I think the market was pricing that in today. Just my thoughts; not real questions, Tony. <gg>

Ciao!
