That’s where Lenovo steps in with its cheaper touch-screen smartphone devices. First launched in China in 2010, they became the second-biggest selling brand in the Chinese smartphone market in Q3 2012, overtaking Apple, due to their affordability. Lenovo also began selling in Russia, Indonesia, India, the Philippines and Vietnam last year.
