Seems to be quite dumb analysis to me. The PATRIOT ACT I believe is needed and a good and reasonable balance that does add to security and has checks so abuses of civil rights should not occur. It stands alone as a completely good bill. The meth thing may be a who cares. It may be a waste of some resources, but I don't see it as a danger. That dumb and dumber Senators may play a wish list game with any legislations is just the way it is. A REASON TO VOTE AGAINST THE PATRIOT ACT EXTENSION: Mission creep. Throw out the baby with the bath water is the analysis. And Feinstein's presence may indicate a tactic to have others VOTE AGAINST THE PATRIOT ACT EXTENSION.
