>> My greatest wish is that someone like Martin Luther King Jr. emerged as a Palestinian leader, teaching non-violent resistance and galvanizing all his people towards non-violence. <<

just one problem with this wish. martin luther king was closely associated with many jews, who wanted to use his civil rights movement to further their agenda. they had a use for him. they gave MLK favorable press treatment and powerful financial and organizational backing.

there is absolutely no incentive for powerful and influential jews to give any palestinian-type MLK favorable treatment in the press. they have no use for that. in fact, you must understand that israel doesn't want an end to the conflict. peace means no excuse for israel to ethnically cleanse the region.

that is the biggest lie the media perpetrates. that israel is just a freedom-loving, peaceful nation minding its own business trying to live peacefully next to arabs. what a crock! israel was illegally occupying palestinian lands long before hamas and hezbollah were even formed. the palestinians tried non-violent resistance. it got them nowhere so terrorist groups like hezbollah and hamas sprung up to resist. look what happened when rabin tried to make peace with the arabs. he was murdered by an israeli assassin after speaking at a peace march.

the jewish hawks who control israeli foreign policy don't want peace anymore than the arabs do. the media aptly demonstrates arab unwillingness for peace. they conveniently leave out the part where israel doesn't want peace either!
