Suggestion: focused search.

A number of times I have sought info that I know exists on a particular thread --- but must search all text on all threads using my keywords. In such cases, it would have been great to be able to search one thread only to find the post(s) I was seeking. Possibly less overhead for the SI server as well.

A more general and more powerful solution (idea only: I am blissfully removed from the details involved in an implementation) would be to search first on forum titles generating a list of threads, second to remove from or add to the forum list (add-on searches) and third to search the text of previously selected forums for keywords. The idea is, as the top line suggests, to narrow the focus prior to the full text search.

The challenge would be to implement this new functionality without messing up the existing pleasantly straight-forward search function.

Thank you.
