From a business standpoint, China and Japan are as different as night and day. Internet stocks are highly speculative -- you no doubt have got that part figured out by now. Sina claims a large base of registered users. Note that I said "claims". Proceed with some caution. If you are looking for an upside surprise on an Internet play, look at aol. Plese note, I do not go to China as a portfolio investor.
