WOW! I can't believe those bees didn't wake you up or warn you that they were there with all of the buzzing they had to have been creating. And that they didn't get into the house. I have a friend that this happened to. She was constantly vacuuming up bees in her condo. They obviously had chewed through the wall. It doesn't sound like that had happened in your case.

I'm wondering if they relocated the queen bees or did they just kill them. I wonder because there are all these reports that honey bees are disappearing or dying and that farmers are worried about getting their crops pollinated.

Personally, I hope they relocated both of them somewhere else, so that they can restart their colonies and keep making more baby bees. We need bees..........they are important in so many ways. Not to mention the wonderful honey they make.

How much honey did you get out of the deal?

And have a nice weekend with your daughter. Tell her to keep moving that arm and shoulder. My husband had rotator cuff surgery in April and he's healing very well because he is stubborn and just keeps moving that arm of his. He's anxious for the healing to be over with, but is really glad he had the surgery. Didn't have much choice really...........his shoulder was a real mess.

edit: oppppppppppsssss see by reading post 150920 that the bees did not get into the house.

Imagine that many posts here on the GITS thread.....;)
