COM DEV International appoints new CFO
Strengthening of senior management team continues
CAMBRIDGE, ON, May 24 /CNW/ - Keith Ainsworth, President and CEO of COM
DEV International announced today the appointment of Tim Zahavich to the
position of Chief Financial Officer, effective June 5, 2000.

Mr. Zahavich has a strong financial track record, meeting success in a

companies, including, Babcock & Wilcox Canada, Shell Canada Resources and
Deloitte & Touche. Most recently, he was the CFO of Gennum Corporation, a
position that he held for 8 years. Mr. Zahavich is a Chartered Accountant by
profession and a graduate of Queen's University of Kingston, Ontario and Notre
Dame College of Welland, Ontario.
