The differences are: (1) Alta has been in business a long time, first as Silver King Mining, then as Alta Gold.
(2) The president (Bob Pratt) is the former general manager of all operations of Kennecott Utah Copper ---- hardly a breeding ground for crooks.
(3) Alta is producing gold, and has done so for several years. They are a small producer, to be sure, but they have produced from several small deposits for years.
(4) There is no fraud associated with Alta, period. If you are looking for bad guys, you won't find them at Alta.
