NEWS RELEASE
EARLY RESULTS INDICATE LARGE RESOURCE IN GOINGOINDOUGOU ZONE
MAJOR AEROMAGNETIC ANOMALY DISCOVERED IN LIBRE PLATEAU AND NIAOULENI ZONES
DIAMOND DRILLING OF IP ANOMALIES IN KANKOU MOUSSA ZONE

Goingoindougou Zone

Mink International is pleased to announce that early trenching results has
delineated an initial indicated reserve of 300,000 tonnes grading 1.31
grams of gold/tonne on the surface of the Goingoindougou Zone. The latter
is just one of several known traditional mining areas in the Company's
Niaouleni gold property located in the Kangaba Mining District, Republic of
Mali.

The grade of the indicated reserve was established from fire assay results
of trench bulk samples analyzed by RTZ's Anamet Laboratories of Bristol,
England. From the nine (9) meter deep Goingoindougou trenches, so far,
only 105 out of 731 samples taken were assayed. The 1.31 grams gold per
tonne grade, therefore, was calculated only from them. However, samples
collected from test pits located between the trenches and at 10.4 to 17.5
meters depths assayed from 1.44 to 35.68 grams of gold per tonne as
analyzed by Chemex Laboratories of Vancouver, British Columbia.

The initial indicated reserve on surface was estimated over an area
measuring 23 meters wide by 500 meters long, but only to a depth of 15
meters. A 260 meter long diamond drill hole drilled directly into the
newly delineated deposit has just been completed. Core samples were
shipped to Goldfields Laboratory in Johannesburg, South Africa, for fire
assaying. The Company is optimistic that this drill hole will prove that
the deposit delineated on surface will persist at depth and, therefore,
could be bigger than the 300,000 tonnes estimated. Furthermore, the
deposit is actually inside a 150 meter wide gold bearing stockwork,
confirming the potential of a large resource at Goingoindougou. Aside from
assaying the remaining trench samples, pilot plant bulk testing will now be
initiated.

Libre Plateau and South Niaouleni Zones

The Company's geological team is currently conducting detailed geological,
geochemical and ground geophysical surveys in two other know traditional
mining zones in the property. This includes a 2.5 km x 3 km area that
encompass the Libre Plateau and South Niaouleni zones. There, a major
East-West trending aeromagnetic anomaly was recently identified by Aerodat
Inc. of Toronto, Ontario. Only a small section of this anomaly is being
evaluated as it extends beyond the area now being investigated.

Kankou Moussa Zone

Mink's diamond drilling crew is now setting up in the Kankou Moussa Zone to
test several Induced Polarization (IP) anomalies. The latter were newly
discovered by the Company's in-house geophysicists working in conjunction
with Mr. David Mark, President of Geotronics Limited of Vancouver, British
Columbia who interpreted the survey data. In each of the survey lines,
(spaced 200 meters apart), the IP anomalies (indicating the presence of
sulfide bodies) range from 0.5 to 1.5 km in width. They are all
significantly wider than the surface boundary of the present traditional
gold working areas.

The Company's management is extremely pleased with these encouraging
results. In this regard, Mink International is now intensifying its
systematic exploration of the Property in the Republic of Mali, West
Africa.
