Rich: I've been watching the charts of the REITs, the smaller ones have been in a serious bear. Every day I think they can't drop any more and they drop some more. I saw Ken Heebner complaining bitterly about it on CNBC and telling people that REITs were bargains (his fund is down big-time). I just get warm fuzzies when I see profitable businesses selling near book value. Good luck on your downsizing- I downsized into this house I have now- I cut my commute from an hour and a half one way down to five minutes. Not to mention the "profit". And time for my gardening. We spend the first half of our lives accumulating things and the second half getting rid of them. ;-)
