Gapping Up : Leading the upside action in pre-market are Silicon Valley Bancshares (SIVB +2.5%) and Biomira (BIOM +15.5%). After the close, SIVB predicted core earnings of $0.65-$0.68 (mean $0.65) and announced a 5 mln share stock repurchase program.... BIOM receiving shot in the arm from bullish Business Week article... Other active stocks in pre-market: SCMR (-24%), RMDY (-19%), EXTR (-16%), TLAB (-13%), AMCC (-6%), JNPR (-4.5%), JDSU (-4.2%), CSCO (-3.8%), INTC (-2.5%).
