That driver probably went off after turning left never realizing what a mess he almost made. That's what's always frustrating to me. I'm glad you're OK.

See, if we didn't have such a population density, we wouldn't have those problems. <g>

I have nothing so exciting to report. One day last week when I was out walking in my neighborhood I was attacked by a mockingbird. A pair was sitting on a chain link fence squawking as I approached but it never occurred to me that I was the target of their discomfort. One of them dove on me four times before I got past the guarded area and back in his comfort zone. Then he did a few victory laps above the treetops. I'm sure the contact hurt him more than it hurt me. I'll take my chances with mockingbirds rather than some inattentive driver.

Yeah, the chatter here has been as squirrelly as ever.
