Rob, I'll tell ya why I don't think IDX will be hitting $6.50.......besides the 1.2 million short position that would be covering before that level....... I think IDX does have a couple of things in their pocket.......and I think they will be out before Randy faces the shareholders and analysts again. You have the Q1 results and CC......and then the annual meeting. Both will be rough rides without some happy news. And you also have a curious situation with the pre-announcement giving a warning on lower sales from government contracts (Y2K?).....yet no warning on earnings. I'm not exactly sure why they made this pre-announcement......unless they are assuming that people will understand that earnings will also fall way below estimates?......or perhaps they just forgot? Funny deal there. Wall Street estimates for Q1 is for 0 cents. The $6.50 would be based on "same old stuff"...(which may be the case).....While my theory is one in which stuff happens. bg
