Linux gold>>>>>>>"My kids' ages are off limits, because of security. We get death threats at work from dissatisfied shareholders," says Matthew Szulik, CEO of Red Hat, whose stock plummeted from a high of $143 in December 1999 to a low of $5 a year later, erasing $23 billion worth of market capitalization. "People bought in when the stock was hot and the movement was hot," Szulik groans, "and now they're p--ed."

Having used Redhat from version 1.0 thru 7.2 and being a personal friend of Redhat's founding CEO Bob Young and knowing Mark Ewing the techno nerd who started Redhat, I said loudly and often that Redhat was worth maybe 3 to 5 buck a share. Mark Ewing I believe sold the most shares at good prices of the major share holders. He's a great engineer. Oh well some have to blame someone. It's a vacant liberal minded thing.
I now mostly use mandrake, but my firewall is Redhat 5.2 and acute is 6.0. When it ain't broke why fix it.
