I can see the headlines now ..."Microsoft buys Cyberguard at $30 per share with the intent of competing directly with Checkpoint, Secure and other network security providers"... would make my life.
Maybe we're still seen as a niche competitor, not a significant threat and therefore we're being kept out of the fray.
