I was in another parent's house the other day and saw a little thing on the wall saying "If you are what you eat, I must be fast, easy, and cheap." I wanted to snatch it for my kitchen.

Off to deliver one kid and retrieve another. There is some karmic law demanding that at least one of them be in the house at any time, usually with a small army of friends.

Once, just once in living memory, they both slept over on the same night. I went to bed at about 8:00 and slept late. Small luxuries....
