Sonki, if you dont want to 'day trade' then I would pick three stocks, Microsoft, Intel, Oracle. But take a look at Oracle in 3 to 4 years time. I feel they will do very well over that timeframe, and then get into a serious head-to-head with msft. Until then, enough for everyone to prosper. My next chunk of long term money is going into either msft or intel. (I already have Oracle) Probably msft as I can't see serious competition for them, but there is for Intel, potentially. Any comments anyone? Joe C
