Agreed that Adam Smith's "Common Sense" cannot be applied to 21stC globalization, although the capitalist fundamentalists like Kudlow insist that the 18thC economic theory is still relevant.

Bill Clinton knew he had to adopt Republican economic policies in order to get elected. His worst decision was forcing NAFTA on the country--we continue to feel the negative effects of that agreement, including the recent threat of Mexican trucks on US highways.

Considering NAFTA's failure to produce more American jobs, or any of the other benefits promised by Bill Clinton, would it be wise to again entrust our families' futures to another Clinton?

>We have reached a point with a few issues like healthcare and trade deficit where we as knowledgable americans need to seriously RETHINK the government agenda, including a lot of republican economic theories which I supported 10years ago but am now having second thoughts.<
