NOVL ripe for a takeover ? At 7 1/2/share, who in their right mind would overlook buying NOVL ? We had plenty of rumours in 1995 amd 1996 but nothing this year. IBM, Sun, HP and CPQ shares have all doubled/tripled over the last (NOVL has been chopped by half) year making the acquisition even more attractive with a stock swap. What's the matter with these companies ? Its like buying NOVL at $2 1/2 - $4 per share. What the hell are those investment bankers advising large companies waiting for ? V.K
