Jorj, just on a side note..

i believe that had we not gone into socialism and if we'd have banned unions, that we'd have 3 day work weeks by now. probably working 5 or 6 hours per day. we'd all be wealthier, happier, freer and single wage earner households could easily support a family of four or five. prices of everything would be lower and going down year after year. technology would be through the roof. we'd have things we can't even imagine we'd have today. employers would have to entice workers with all kinds of benefits because there would be plenty of jobs for everyone. we'd be welcoming legal immigrants from all over the world because our prospering economy would need them. people might then understand that the more people worked in the usa, the easier and better our lives would become.

that's how much i think socialism and unions have hurt us, and held us back. that's the price of our ignorance about free markets and freedom.
