Derisive isn't in the league of slander. To call someone a traitor who has served his country, died for his country or otherwise been a good citizen is traitorous in itself. Ivins and Coulter might as well be from two different planets. Ivins is also very accurate with her critiques as she bases them on fact, at least the ones I've heard.
There is a lot to be derisive about with this president. He did not deserve to be president in the first place. He cheated to "win" and he was brought up into the governship by special interest money-men based mostly on his last name.
He is also taking this country backward. He deserves to be taken to the woodshed. But no one is calling him a traitor or attacking his wife and kids the way Coulter does.
