HomeSpace Signs Agreement With Go2Net to Provide Real Estate and Mortgage Services

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Dec 21, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Internet users of
the Go2Net Network can now access real estate, mortgage and homeowner
services from HomeSpace(TM)Inc., the homeownership portal offering
personalized service through its team of Homeowner Advocates
(http://www.homespace.com).

Under a marketing agreement announced today, HomeSpace's full range of
services for buying, selling, financing, moving into and maintaining a
home will be available on the Go2Net Network, one of the top 10 most
popular Internet destinations, according to the Media Metrix Web
measurement firm.

HomeSpace's services can be accessed in the following ways from
Go2Net's network of branded, technology- and community-driven Web
sites:

- Go2Net's Marketplace section on its home page
(http://www.go2net.com)

- Go2Net's Real Estate Directory
(http://www.go2net.com/channels/realestate/)

- Silicon Investor (http://www.siliconinvestor.com)

- HyperMart (http://www.hypermart.net)

- Metacrawler (http://www.metacrawler.com)

The Marketplace link is active today. All other services will be
available within the next two weeks.

HomeSpace will provide real estate, mortgage and homeowner-service
related content to Go2Net users through direct links to the company's
Web site. HomeSpace also will provide a number of tools and services
designed to support consumers through every stage in the homeownership
process, including mortgage and rent-versus-buy calculators, interest
rate monitoring and on-line mortgage prequalification.

"The Go2Net Network is a premier destination in the electronic
marketplace for personal finance services," said Henry T. DeNero,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HomeSpace. "With this alliance,
Go2Net users will now have HomeSpace as their advocate in the
homeownership process, and access to our library of information for
evaluating home-buying and financing options. Through HomeSpace,
consumers can realize cash savings on the purchase and sale of a home,
get low rates on mortgages up to $3 million and receive numerous
discounts on homeowner services."

"HomeSpace has established itself as a leading player in the real
estate, mortgage and homeowner services sector," said Dan Ballister,
Go2Net's national sales director. "We're pleased to be working with
them."

HomeSpace gives consumers cash savings for using real estate brokers
that are part of its network. It also helps manage the real estate
transaction and provides contractual protections to consumers that are
typically not available through a direct relationship with a real
estate professional.

The HomeSpace real estate broker network includes such industry leaders
as Coldwell Banker, Century 21, Prudential, RE/MAX, Better Homes and
Gardens, and ERA, as well as many large independent brokers. The
network provides local market services to consumers buying or selling
homes in all 50 states.

HomeSpace is the fastest-growing home loan provider in the United
States, according to the latest edition of the Mortgage Broker
Directory. HomeSpace offers mortgages from more than 60 national and
regional lenders, including such leading financial institutions as Bank
of America, Chase Manhattan, Ohio Savings Bank, Interfirst (a division
of ABN Amro) and Washington Mutual Savings Bank.
