Hi Blaine: Here's a little background information.

By integrating the processor, memory, storage systems and network connections of several network servers in a cluster configuration, customers can create a highly available, scalable and easily managed network. Such systems not only ensure the network has no single point of failure, but also combine the processing and networking power of the interconnected network servers. These benefits build on the success of Novell's high-availability, scalable solutions such as SFT III, ABEND Recovery and Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP).

"In addition to high availability and scalability, Novell's Wolf Mountain clustering technologies enables significant performance enhancements through system load balancing," commented Jeff Merkey, chief scientist for the Wolf Mountain Technologies at Novell. "By sharing the load across all the processors in the cluster, customers will be able to better utilize the processing power and system resources in their computing environment."
