That's why it's a good stock to hold onto. As it trades higher, any final buyout will tend to go higher. If you look at the premium paid for MCI or LCI, a buyout of Frontier now would appear to be in the 40-45 range. On the other hand, those two companies have a stronger long distance footprint, which is why a potential buyout would tend to be closer to 40, I think. At the current price, it's a great stock to buy and hold, while it pays a decent dividend.
