Here's my full disclosure: I do not personally know Gilder, nor have I interacted with him either personally nor via on-line media. I have nothing for or against him personally. Hence, I cannot verify one way or the other that Gilder (of Telecosm fame) is really signed up with SI. I only know him through his (presumably edited) books, so I don't know his `real' writing style. (His Men and Marriage book (a recommended reading for all) is a classic for me and happen to read up on other books and liked what I've read about how companies like Micron became successful.) All I'm saying is that US$75 (on USENET, it can be free!) is that it takes to join with any sign-on name. Danny
