Yeah Tom, DY has come a long way in a short time. I'd agree that I'd probably wait for earnings - I expect they will be good but I think that is priced into the stock to some extent now. What to look for is the backlog here - at one point not so long ago (when the company was selling at around $10) they had almost a year of backlog projects worth over $200 mill!!!

With the earnings they will also announce the backlog. If the backlog is down I'd hold off, if the backlog increases to any extent I'd buy here.
I expect the backlog of unfinished work to increase by 10-20% over last years levels.

Long term I really like this company and what they do - although I bought 1000 shares a month or so ago at $18 and change and don't feel I overpaid.
