That's a pretty alarming photograph. Why isn't anything out the door yet...what happened to falling into the abyss?

WHAT? Paulson was jumping up and down nearly 8 weeks ago that his plan of taking over $700 billion of taxpayer money to use as he darn well pleased was a requirement to prevent a systemic collapse.

Well, the money is partially allocated but not spent and....where is the systemic financial collapse? So, is the $700 billion extortion while the other monies going into, say, commercial paper and (somehow) to AIG and the car companies enough?

What the heck is going on.
